Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil” (Matthew 6:9-13).
As I talk about being a Kingdom Ambassador, prayer is a very important topic. Prayer was at the center of Jesus’ teaching.
See: Matthew 3:1–6; 4:12–17, 23–5:12, 17–20; 6:5–15, 19–34; 7:21–23; 8:5–13; 9:35–38; 10:5–15; 11:2–15; 12:22–30
An ambassador’s life is spending time in the Word of God. It is a life of building your faith. It’s a life of cultivating the presence of Christ. If you’re going to be an ambassador, Jesus says to pray secretly, and your father will reward you openly (Matthew 6:6).
