When we pray for the kingdom of God coming, we pray for God’s reign. We’re asking the Lord to reign. Your kingdom come.

Your will be done. This kingdom is where God is the spiritual head, where He is the ruler. The rule of God. The rule of God’s power. And that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So, when we pray for the will of God to be done, we desire the purposes of God to be accomplished.

And we talk about the original intent of God. So, when I go out here, and I’m working in the medical field, or I’m working in the legal field, or I’m working in business, or I’m working in education, we are praying for God’s original intent for the world, for humans.

Now, the world and workplace will never be euphoric or perfect.  If we have evil in the world, we have Satan and his kingdom. 

Yet we know God’s kingdom, God’s heaven will come to earth, but for now, we are an extension of the kingdom of God, an extension of the will of God; prayer is the power behind God’s movement in our lives and spheres of influence. We pray in secret for public impact!

God’s kingdom comes, God’s will be done, and God empowers us to restore the realms we’re in; the areas where we’re ambassadors as citizens of heaven.
