In Christ you can know who you truly are and then know why you’re here. But if you don’t know who you are, you can’t know why you’re here.
We are here to reconcile men to God.
19 It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but canceling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor) (2 Corinthians 5:19 AMP).
If we are to bring the good news of the gospel to the world, then we must see them as God sees them. We must see them through the eyes of compassion. God has set them free from sin’s bondage into God’s glorious liberty.
We gather in the household of faith in order to scatter to declare the good news.
4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ., (2 Corinthians 4:4–6).
Satan Has blinded the minds of those who do not believe. Think about this for a moment, they are unable to see Christ, to see the light of Jesus, and that’s why we need to have compassion.
God wants you to be a light in the darkness. You are the person God is using in the workplace for the expansion of Jesus.
So you and I have been called by God to bring the light into the dark place, not under the bushel, but on a candlestick to see the true condition of the person’s heart.
It is time to display who God truly is so the people can come into a right relationship with the living God.
