We are called to be workplace ambassadors for Jesus Christ.  We are to be engaged in the work of God’s Kingdom.  We represent Him legally as His ambassadors.

“and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also”  2 Timothy 2:2.

Jesus authorized us and gave us authority to represent Him in the workplace. When Jesus gave us authority, He entrusted us with the message to tell others that He’s committed unto us the word of reconciliation; reconciliation to God the Father.

As ambassadors, we are given a position of authority.  Along with that position,  we’ve been entrusted with the message.  Before we share His message, we must prepare the heart to receive the Word. 

Our work hours are not to be used to preach the Gospel.  We are to identify your target, you’re an asset, you identify your target, you pray, and you seek to cultivate a relationship with that person through prayer, through finding common ground.  What does an effective kingdom ambassador look like in the workplace?

The Ten Attributes of a Kingdom Ambassador

1. Walking daily in intimacy with Jesus Christ

2. Living in accountable relationships with believers

3. Sharing faith in Christ in my sphere of influence

4. Helping others grow spiritually through life-on-life discipleship

5. Living an integrated life with proper life priorities

6. Living a life of generosity

7. Applying Biblical principles in all areas of my life

8. Maintaining a standard of excellence with integrity

9. Genuinely caring for people

10. Living out God’s call on my life

Accept the call as a workplace Ambassador for God’s kingdom. Live the ten attributes “out loud” in your work environment. Understand your purpose and allow the Holy Spirit to direct you to individuals who are crying out to God and looking for guidance and leadership in their daily lives. When you seek God’s Kingdom first, everything you need in life, business, and ministry will be ADDED to you. As an ambassador for Jesus Christ, your search for success is over!
